I'm going to go over to my main Resolve computer in one of my studios now and see if I can install the Studio 18.1.3 update over 18.1.3 FREE and whether the dongle will allow me to use it if I can update. Hopefully on my real davinci system the resolve studio dongle will work for fusion 16.1 and resolve 16.1 and this thread is very encouraging. I got it bundled with the excellent Resolve Speed Editor. You can go through support and convert your dongle to a software license key. Plus its a pretty good and solid edit controller in its own right. I see one used, with the Studio license dongle, on the Bay for less than 100.

I bought the Dongle to activate Resolve Studio. The latest inexpensive accessory the Resolve Studio license came with was their Blackmagic Resolve Speed Editor, which was around 300 list but on sale awhile ago at around 150.
